We made a guitar string tuner based on the frequencies read from a .wav file, for educational purposes. We used these video's to finetune our ystem and can now anaylse what string is played and how much it needs to be tuned to be as close to perfect as we can. Thanks for the source!

You lost me at fingering

Excellent video, love the clarity and how it gets to the point, no unnecessary chit-chat anywhere. I'm experienced with regular notation but needed to become aware of the various playing techniques, and to start writing for guitarists. From now on, I'll have tabs accompanying the regular notation so they actually explain how a given piece is meant to be performed, technically.
